5 Lessons Learned: Help

Finding Inspiration from One’s Creativity

When you’re a writer or artist or inventor, what should one do when words just aren’t coming or the visual concepts are just unreachable and that all ideas are at a stand still, so you’re not stuck forever uninspired?

When your creative spirit is beginning to leave you mentally spark-less, feeling stuck and uninspired, there is some kind of factor that has gone completely over you and your work, and that is having a routine life, therefore, this is a sign for you to change your physical environment, momentarily, so you can be at a place where you can renew your thoughts and get back that flow of inspiration from a new environment. One such way to change your physical environment is to do a lot of walking which is found to improve creativity, such that the creative thinking increases by 60%, and that the flow of creative inspiration just continues to pour even after you return to your usual work place.

Give yourself room to play and go back to memory lane with those creative years when you tried almost everything that your inventive mind has dictated on you – drawing, painting, snow building, etc. without no set goals but just having the fun and energy to be imaginative; therefore, now is the time to reset time and make room for play. A great way is to try a new perspective, a new hobby, like cooking a new recipe or trying out in a zumba class or feeling the waves through a surfing session and many more – anything that is a refreshing break.
Doing Inspirations The Right Way

If a change of fresh air by walking or taking a new hobby is not enough, then take a long break by taking a trip or vacation with friends and enjoy your time together so that new experiences may just come along and the much-needed inspiration is found during the break which can be instrumental for a new surge of creativity. Eat well, exercise and have lots of sleep, since the creative ideas come though dreams, during your vacation break and you’ll understand that a balanced life, outside work, can truly prepare you mentally and physically. While on vacation, find time to read a book and you’d be surprised by how your mind can absorb fresh and inspiring ideas, which you can mentally bring with you when you return to work.
What I Can Teach You About Tips

The presence of people can boost your mental energy, so when you’re on a trip with friends, find the time to talk out your concerns with them, making healthy discussions; sometimes, you only need the release of your unconstructive thoughts and emotions, for you to feel refresh and start anew.
